The upcoming release of the Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Team System has been discussed ad nauseam in the media and online. I am anxious to begin using it myself but not the beta, I have to trust my output! But one feature glaringly missing from the environment as well as from most competing environments from Borland and Eclipse etc is an easy to use code sharing utility.

We is it so difficult to develop a utility to allow, foster and encourage code reuse? I know there is a school of thought that code reuse is over hyped and, yes I know about the code snippets tools available for these environments, but none of them seem straightforward to use.

More on this later, just wanted to get something down so I would be reminded to develop the idea later.
